Start Small!
In order to draw model agencies attention of yourself, you simply have to apply proactively. I first wrote to model agencies in Munich 4 years ago, sent them pics and than I waited for reply. If you are successful there, than you can also apply to other agencies in Germany and beyond. The whole thing doesn’t work overnight, it just happens overtime. In this period of time you learn a lot and are judging so well that you can always better assess what customers want and what they don’t. Its also a good start to look at the websites of the model agencies and get an overview of what type of male model is in the site. Would I fit in there well? Always work with an agency!
My tip is: to have new and professional photos taken at least once a year! It is worth investing here and creating a sedcard with different images. ) Sports, business and casual shots shouldn’t be missing. In addition be sure to have a portrait made, a pola, a Totale and Halbtotale, so that the customer and the agency can see your body, profile, the face and teeth clearly.
Have photographer take you pictures at least once or two times per year to actualise your portfolio, photos that show you in different situations such as sports, business, advertising and more.
